What

Loud Black Girls seeks to redefine what has been deemed to be a negative stereotype for black girls for a long time. Through our platform, we hope to inspire and empower black womxn to be loud about who they are and everything that comes with it. 

In their words: “This initiative is important because it encourages black womxn in Ottawa to be proud of who they are. As black girls in Ottawa face constant racism and discrimination, it is important for them to have spaces where they can be encouraged and empowered.”
